Cut The CLUTTER
This Business is about service - helping people maximize space and time!
Professional organizers orchestrate and give organization advice for your home, office, or business. A professional organizer can be a BIG help to anyone. Our work begins with establishing a realistic budget and discussing ideas and goals for your space or project. It is our job to make sure you reach the goals you desire. We coordinate your work schedule, so you do not have to, no more headaches! We will provide a list of handymen, online auctions, retail stores, computer consultants and other vendors, if needed. We will even act as a liaison between you and them.
Professional Organizer- Declutter Tips
Home Decluttering
1. If you have children in your home, a great idea to prevent confusion on where to store items is to use labels which will help put them back in the right place.
2. Putting a trash can where you check the mail will prevent a pile of unread mail. You can sort through what you need right then and there and trough away what you don’t need.
3. For those whose love clothes, closet organization can help you to keep track of what you have and what you don’t wear anymore. A general rule is to discard any clothes you have not worn in over a year.
4. Try to plan ALL errands for one day. This will help you to save time and gas.
5. Plan out your week as best you can to help you balance your week to make sure everything gets done. Yes this does mean making a list.
Business Decluttering
1. Stop work five minutes before quieting time to clean off desk and put everything back where it belongs. A clean desk leads to a less stressful environment and will save you time!
2. We find that the less paperwork the better. We here at Cut the Clutter try to do all work but on the computer. This saves space and helps to prevent those nasty paper cuts.
3. In a workplace you have many people with many different styles and to prevent confusion on an object or its placement labels are a great.
4. Plan out your week as best you can. If you have the type of job where you do the same thing from week to week. This will help you balance your week and prevent things being left out.
5. When multitasking be aware of the room you have as your work space, do not pile stuff on top of stuff. Multitasking is not always the best thing for people who don’t have the desk space for it. When paperwork is piled on top of other work there is a high chance of something being left out or overlooked.
